Getting your
test results

Every result is reviewed before it is released, delivered confidentially, and shared only with the people authorized to see it. Here is what to expect and when.

Take action.

From the moment your specimen is sealed, it moves through a documented chain: laboratory analysis, confirmation testing where needed, and Medical Review Officer evaluation — then straight to you.

  1. We notify you

You will receive a call or email as soon as your result has been reviewed and released.

  2. Access and review your report

Results are shared securely with you and with any employer, agency or court authorized to receive them.

  3. Act on your result

Non-negative results are evaluated by a Medical Review Officer, who will contact the donor privately to discuss any legitimate medical explanation before a result is reported.

The Medical Review Officer

An MRO is a licensed physician who evaluates every non-negative laboratory result. Before anything is reported, the MRO contacts the donor privately to determine whether a valid prescription or medical explanation accounts for the finding. Keep your phone nearby after your test — a missed MRO call can delay your result.

Who can see your result

Results are released only to you and to the specific employer, court, agency or attorney authorized to receive them — nobody else. Court and agency referrals are transmitted directly to the requesting party, with a copy to you where permitted.
